The Bruins have assigned defenseman Matt Hunwick back down to the Providence Bruins (AHL). He played his first NHL game last Friday against the Sabres. Maybe with Matt Lashoff and now Hunwick being sent back down to Providence, defensemen Bobby Allen and Andrew Ference will be able to play on Thursday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
