Bruins-Canadiens game 1 summary

The Boston Bruins won 4-2 in game 1 against the Montreal Canadiens. Game 2 will be on Saturday. I will be doing a live game post as well for that game. The stats for game 1 are below.

In the first period, at 13:11 Phil Kessel scored his first goal of the playoffs, assisted by David Krejci and Chuck Kobasew. At 14:41, David Krecji scored his first goal of the playoffs, assisted by Michael Ryder and Milan Lucic. At 16:19, Christopher Higgins scored to make it 2-1 Bruins.

In the second period, at 17:37, Alexei Kovalev scored to make it 2-2.

In the third period, at 11:15, Zdeno Chara scored his first goal of the playoffs, a power-play goal, assisted by Marc Savard and Phil Kessel. At 19:46, Phil Kessel scored his second goal of the playoffs into an empty net, assisted by Milan Lucic.

Tim Thomas made 26 saves on 28 shots against. Carey Price made 35 saves on 38 shots against.
