Bruins finish the season

Yesterday the Bruins beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2 and today the Bruins beat the Washington Capitals in a shootout 4-3. The Bruins will finish the season in 6th place with a 39-30-13 record and 91 points. So the Bruins will face the 3rd place team, which right now is the Buffalo Sabres. But the Sabres and New Jersey Devils (2nd place) play tonight and if the Sabres win the Bruins will face the Devils, and if the Devils win the Bruins will face the Sabres.

Last night the Bruins recalled defenseman Jeff Penner and forward Zach Hamill from the Providence Bruins (AHL). They both played in today's game against the Capitals. It was Hamill's first NHL game and he got an assist.
