Bruins vs Sabres game 3 summary

The Bruins won 2-1 in Game 3 vs the Sabres Monday night. What a game as it was back and forth action throughout but the Bruins seemed to have the edge for most of the night. Game 4 will be on Wednesday night at 7pm EST in Boston. I will be doing a live game post update as well for that game. The stats for game 3 are below.

In the first period, at 6:57, Mike Grier (1) scored assisted by Raffi Torres and Henrik Tallinder. At 15:17, Dennis Wideman (1) scored assisted by Vladimir Sobotka and Matt Hunwick.

In the second period, no scoring happened.

In the third period, at 12:57, Patrice Bergeron (1) scored assisted by Mark Recchi and Dennis Wideman. We also saw the first fight of the series, which was between Vladimir Sobotka and Andrej Sekera, and it was a draw as neither player landed anything but it was a spirited fight.

Tuukka Rask made 32 saves on 33 shots and is now 2-1. Ryan Miller made 27 saves on 29 shots and is 1-2.

Game 4 is Wednesday night at 7pm EST and it should be another good one.
