Game 4 between the Bruins and Sabres is tonight at 7pm. Stay tuned to this post as I'll be updating it when the game starts and throughout the entire game. For lineup changes, the Bruins should have the same lineup. For the Sabres, again Thomas Vanek is out and hasn't been able to practice yet but he did skate this morning. Matt Ellis, who took that big hit from Johnny Boychuk in the last game, has a broken nose and didn't practice yesterday, so he may be out for game 4. The Sabres did recall Cody McCormick who is a fourth line type player, so he will replace Ellis in the lineup. It will be Tuukka Rask vs Ryan Miller.
1st Period
7:14 PM - [2:12] Kennedy scores and makes it 1-0 Sabres.
7:20 PM - Sabres playing their most physical game of the series so far.
7:33 PM - Sobotka draws a penalty, Bruins on the power-play.
7:35 PM - Sabres kill the penalty.
7:36 PM - Rivet gets a penalty, Bruins on another power-play.
7:39 PM - Lucic gets a penalty for boarding.
7:45 PM - First period ends. Big hit by Chara on Kaleta, and the ref tackled down Kaleta to not let things get out of hand. Sabres lead 1-0.
2nd Period
8:01 PM - Second period about to start.
8:07 PM - Bruins with some good scoring chances but not able to bury them.
8:10 PM - [5:26] Lucic and Rivet drop the gloves and have an ok fight, nothing much going on in the fight as Rivet made sure to tie Lucic up and get in close to Lucic.
8:12 PM - Good scoring chances by both teams but both goalies made the saves.
8:15 PM - [6:59] Montador took a shot from the point and it went in the net, not sure if Gaustad tipped that or not. Sabres lead 2-0.
8:27 PM - Miller with a great save on the Bruins.
8:30 PM - Penalty on Lydman, Bruins to go on the power-play.
8:41 PM - The second period is over and the Sabres lead 2-0. Both teams have 16 shots each. Bruins lead in faceoffs 18-17.
Third Period
8:59 PM - The third period is underway.
9:02 PM - Bruins to go on the power-play. McCormick in the box.
9:02 PM - [2:07] Bruins score right away on the power-play. Krejci with the goal. Now it is a 2-1 Sabres lead.
9:04 PM - Kaleta going to the box for boarding Lucic.
9:09 PM - [6:40] Bergeron scores and ties the game 2-2.
9:24 PM - 2:48 left to go in the third period.
9:30 PM - The third period ends tied 2-2. Overtime is next.
