Bruins lose, Bruins vs Flyers game 7 summary

What a way to lose a game and the series... a too many men on the ice penalty. Yup a too many men on the ice penalty by the Bruins gave the Flyers a power play in the third period, where Simon Gagne scored the game winner. Nice job refs. But that doesn't really matter I guess, they had three other games to finish this off but didn't, and now they'll be going home and waiting until next season. The Bruins lossed game 7 to the Flyers by the score 4-3. After a 3-0 lead in the first period, the Flyers scored four unanswered goals and the Bruins couldn't come back at the end. The scoring summary is below.

In the first period, at 5:27, Michael Ryder (4) scored a power play goal assisted by Mark Recchi and Zdeno Chara. At 9:02, Milan Lucic (4) scored a power play goal assisted by Dennis Wideman and Johnny Boychuk. At 14:10, Milan Lucic (5) scored. At 17:12, James van Riemsdyk (1) scored assisted by Claude Giroux.

In the second period, at 2:49, Scott Hartnell (2) scored assisted by Ville Leino and Danny Briere. At 8:39, Danny Briere (7) scored assisted by Scott Hartnell.

In the third period, at 12:52, Simon Gagne (4) scored a power play goal assisted by Mike Richards and Ville Leino.

Tuukka Rask made 23 saves on 27 shots and finished 7-6 in the playoffs. The Flyers led the game in shots 27-25. The Flyers led the game in faceoff wins 25-20.

The Bruins will never win the Cup with the Jacobs as owners. We all know why.
