Bruins vs Flyers game 1 summary

Game 1 between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers was earlier today with the Bruins winning the game in overtime by the score of 5-4. Marc Savard played in his first game in a long time and scored the game winner in overtime. It was good seeing him back on the ice and his celebration after he scored the goal was fun to watch.

Bruins forward Marco Sturm was injured in his first shift of the game. According to this ESPN.com article, Sturm "hurting his right leg, suffered a significant injury and likely will miss the rest of the season, according to a team source." Sturm has struggled in the playoffs, but this isn't good news. The Bruins perfect penalty killing is no more as the Flyers scored two power play goals in the game.

Tuukka Rask made 32 saves on 36 shots and is now 5-2 in the playoffs. The Bruins led the game in shots 46-36. The Flyers led the game in faceoff wins 38-34.
