Bruins lose to Panthers in shootout

On Saturday night the Bruins played the Florida Panthers for the second time in the last few days. They lost 3-2 to the Panthers on Thursday and they lost 3-2 in a shootout on Saturday. Rookie Tyler Seguin scored his first preseason goal from a nice feed from Zdeno Chara and roofed the puck on goalie Scott Clemmensen (watch the NESN video below to see it).

There were also two fights in the game. The first was mainly a tie-up between Mark Stuart and Kenndal McArdle. The second fight was real good, with punches flying, between Milan Lucic and Triston Grant. Grant was whacking Nathan Horton off of a faceoff and Lucic came over to challenge Grant. They dropped the gloves and Lucic pounded on Grant, clearly getting the win. You can watch both fights on in our videos section.

Comments from Lucic on the fight:

"I think the game on both ends was kind of lacking a little bit of emotion there," said Lucic. "[Grant] was going after Horton a little bit, so it felt like it was the right time, end of the period try and get things going, get things started. You know it's preseason so it nice to get a couple out of the way. I think we responded pretty well after that."
