Bruins beat Panthers 2-1

Last night the Bruins beat the Florida Panthers 2-1. In the first period, Brad Marchand scored his 13th goal of the season to give the Bruins the 1-0 lead.

In the second period, Milan Lucic would make it 2-0 Bruins, with his 20th goal of the season. It is the first time in his career that Lucic reached the 20 goal mark.

In the third period, the Panthers scored a goal to make it 2-1 but couldn't tie the game up late.

Tim Thomas made 34 saves on 35 shots. Thomas is now 24-5-6, with a 1.81 GAA, and a .945 save percentage.
