Milan Lucic always seems to love playing against Canadian teams in Canada and he showed it tonight, scoring two goals, being a +2, having 4 shots on net, and had a game high 5 hits. His second goal, an empty netter, put the game away to give the Bruins a 3-1 win. But if it wasn't for Tim Thomas in the third period the Flames would have tied it up.

For the scoring, in the first period, Lucic scored his 25th goal of the season. In the third period, Brad Marchand scored his 19th goal of the season to make it 2-0. Flames Curtis Glencross scored a power-play goal to make it 2-1. Lucic got the empty netter, his 26th goal of the season, with 47 seconds left in the game.

Tim Thomas played in net and made 28 saves on 29 shots. Thomas is now 27-8-6, with a 1.99 GAA, and a .939 save percentage.

The Flames led the game in shots 29-28. The Bruins led the game in faceoff wins 29-23 and in hits 15-14. Both teams had 20 blocked shots.

Some notes from the game
Rich Peverley played in his first game as a Bruin, wearing #49, and looked good on a line with Michael Ryder and Chris Kelly.

Tyler Seguin looked good out there, with 3 shots on net, even with only 10:26 of ice time.

Zdeno Chara had 22:48 of ice time and Tomas Kaberle had 22:51 of ice time. Dennis Seidenberg had 22:23 of ice time.

Onto the next one
