Wrong call screws Bruins

It took only one bad call to screw the Bruins on Saturday afternoon against the New York Rangers. A faceoff, which should have been outside the Bruins zone because the Rangers were offside but somehow the linesman missed it even though he was right there looking at the play, was won by the Rangers and a shot from the point was redirected by Rangers rookie Derek Stepan and into the net for the only goal of the game. The Rangers would beat the Bruins 1-0.

Tuukka Rask played in net and made 22 saves on 23 shots. Rask is now 10-13-2, with a 2.69 GAA, and a .918 save percentage.

I didn't think the Rangers were much divers but after that game it looks like they are. Brandon Dubinsky gets 5 stars for his, falling to his knees after a noticeable delay from getting slashed at by Milan Lucic.

The Bruins played tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers which I'll cover in the next post.
