Saturday was day 2 of the 2011-12 NHL entry draft and the Boston Bruins had 5 selections.

The Bruins drafted forward Alexander Khokhlachev with the 40th overall pick in the second round. Khokhlachev is a 17-year old native of Moscow, Russia, is 5'10" and 172 lbs and a left-handed shot. "In 2010-2011 with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), Khokhlachev had 34-42=76 totals in 67 games played. He also had 9 goals and 11 assists for 20 points in 18 playoff games this season."

In the third round, the Bruins drafted forward Anthony Camara with the 81st overall pick. Camara is 17-years old, from Toronto, Ontario, is 6'1" and 194 lbs and a left-handed shot. He is said to be a tough guy and there are various videos on YouTube with him dropping the gloves. He played the last two seasons with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL. "In the 2010-2011 season, he notched eight goals and added nine assists for 17 points in 64 games. The left winger also compiled 132 penalty minutes." Some are saying he could be a potential third or fourth line player and some fans are hoping he's the next Milan Lucic but I wouldn't go that far yet. We'll see what he can do in the upcoming years.
