All I can keep asking myself is what was Zdeno Chara and Tim Thomas thinking about in overtime. Alex Burrows basically went in, faked a slap shot, Thomas was aggressive and out of the net, dived at Burrows at the side of the net which got him way out of position, as Burrows was able to get around the net with the puck and throw it into the empty net as Chara couldn't tie him up or stop him from putting the puck into the net.

It only took the Canucks 11 seconds in the overtime period to score and win Game 2 by the score 3-2 and now they lead the series 2-0.

Once again, thanks NHL for a great job disciplining players. Burrows, the guy who bit Patrice Bergeron, was not suspended and ended up scoring two goals and assisting on the other one.

In the first period, Burrows scored a power-play goal on a shot that went short side on Tim Thomas and it got threw him and into the back of the net.

In the second period, the Bruins looked much better and managed to score twice. First, Milan Lucic scored his 4th goal of the playoffs. Later, Mark Recchi scored his 3rd goal of the playoffs, a power-play goal to make it 2-1 Bruins.

In the third period, the Canucks outplayed the Bruins and Daniel Sedin tied the game 2-2.

Tim Thomas made 30 saves on 33 shots. Thomas is now 12-8 with a 2.27 GAA and a .930 save percentage.

The Canucks led the game in shots 33-30 and hits 40-31. The Bruins led the game in faceoff wins 24-21.
