Bruins roster set for Thursday

The Bruins roster is now set and ready for Thursday night when they open the season against the Philadelphia Flyers. This won't be the same Flyers team that the Bruins swept in the playoffs as the Flyers have made numerous changes including acquiring a new starting goalie in Ilya Bryzgalov, trading away captain Mike Richards and sniper Jeff Carter. Now for the Bruins there haven't been many changes and they have their opening night roster set. Here's how the Bruins roster looks right now:

Forwards: Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, Rich Peverley, David Krejci, Nathan Horton, Milan Lucic, Chris Kelly, Tyler Seguin, Gregory Campbell, Daniel Paille, Shawn Thornton, Jordan Caron and Benoit Pouliot.

Defenseman: Zdeno Chara, Dennis Seidenberg, Andrew Ference, Joe Corvo, Johnny Boychuk, Adam McQuaid and Matt Bartkowski.

Goalies: Tim Thomas and Tuukka Rask

There is a report that training camp invitee forward veteran Chris Clark will not make the team. Defenseman Steven Kampfer was placed on injured reserve with a sprained MCL.
