Rangers dominate Bruins

The Bruins couldn't get much going in their game tonight against the New York Rangers and lost 3-0 as goalie Henrik Lundqvist stopped all 42 shots he faced. Of those 42 shots the Bruins didn't get a lot of quality scoring chances. The Rangers scored twice in the first period and once in the third period.

Tim Thomas played in net for the Bruins and made 17 saves on 20 shots. Thomas is now 23-11-0 with a 2.20 GAA and a .929 save percentage this season.

The Bruins led the game in shots 42-20 and hits 32-31. The Rangers led the game in faceoff wins 38-32 and blocked shots 21-7. The Bruins went 0-for-1 on the power-play and the Rangers went 1-for-1.

Tyler Seguin led the Bruins in shots with 7. Johnny Boychuk led the Bruins in hits with 6.
