The Bruins we watched and loved in November and December this season are back! At least for the past two games they've been back. Tonight the Bruins put an absolute beating on the Toronto Maple Leafs, pounding them 8-0 and the rivalry between Milan Lucic and Mike Komisarek has heated up once again. Too bad this is the last game between these two teams this season.

Quick game summary
In the first period, 2:25 into the game, Chris Kelly scored his 18th goal of the season, to make it 1-0 Bruins. A little more than three minutes later, Gregory Campbell scored his 8th goal of the season, to make it 2-0. A little more than five minutes later, Benoit Pouliot scored his 11th goal of the season, making it 3-0. Gregory Campbell dropped the gloves with the bigger Luke Schenn and held his own. Less than two minutes after the Pouliot goal, Brad Marchand scored his 24th goal of the season, a power-play goal, making it 4-0. The Leafs would pull James Reimer after that goal and Jonas Gustavsson would play the rest of the game. Milan Lucic and Mike Komisarek met up after an off-sides call I believe. Komisarek gave Lucic a shove, Lucic shoved him back, then they exchanged more shoves and gloved punches. Then they dropped the gloves and went at it. They exchanged a few punches first but then Lucic takes over the fight and lands five big uppercuts. You see the look on Komisarek's face after the fight, he's glad he's still breathing. In the second period, 2:31 into the period, Pouliot scored his 2nd goal of the game, his 12th goal of the season, making it 5-0. A little more than three minutes later, Zdeno Chara scored his 10th goal of the season, a power-play goal, making it 6-0. Later in the period, Brian Rolston scored his 6th goal of the season, making it 7-0.

In the third period, with less than two minutes left in the game, Tyler Seguin scored his 26 goal of the season, making it 8-0. The "Thank you Kessel" chant would fill the Garden, and #ThankYouKessel would trend on Twitter as well.

Phil Kessel finished the game with 2 shots on net and a -2.

Tim Thomas played in net and stopped all 13 saves he faced, earning his 5th shutout of the season. Thomas is now 31-18-0 with a 2.41 GAA and a .919 save percentage this season.
