Tonight were the NHL Awards and Boston Bruins Patrice Bergeron was the winner of the Selke Trophy, which is awarded to the forward who best excels in the defensive aspects of the game. Congrats to Bergeron for winning the Selke. There is no doubt Bergeron should have won the award this year as he played great defensively for the Bruins while putting up a good amount of points as well.

The Frank J. Selke Trophy is an annual award given to the forward who best excels in the defensive aspects of the game. The winner is selected in a poll of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association at the end of the regular season. Source: NHL.com
