First the bad news, as Bruins Patrice Bergeron left in the second period and did not return to the game after getting hit in the head by the elbow or shoulder of Ottawa's Colin Greening as both reached for a puck. We all know that Bergeron had concussion issues in the past and the way he stayed down on the ice after the hit and then slowly got up and went to the dressing room makes you think that it may be another one, but hopefully not.

The good news is that the Bruins looked alive and finally skated for a full game which would help them come out on top 3-2 against the Ottawa Senators. Also, the Bruins made a trade before the game, maybe ten to fifteen years too late, but they acquired forward Jaromir Jagr from the Dallas Stars without giving up a regular-playing player.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Senators Colin Greening scored, making it 1-0 Senators. Less than a minute later, Bruins David Krejci scored his 9th goal of the season, tying the game 1-1. Only 1:01 later, Bruins Tyler Seguin scored his 12th goal of the season, making it 2-1 Bruins.

In the second period, no scoring happened.

In the third period, Senators Andre Benoit scored, tying the game 2-2. Later, Bruins Nathan Horton scored his 12th goal of the season, making it 3-2 Bruins.
