The Bruins have re-signed forward Carter Camper to a one-year, two-way contract, worth $550K at the NHL level and $75K at the AHL level.

Carter was not called up to the Bruins last season but played in three NHL games back in the 2011-2012 season. In those three games, Carter looked good and recorded his first NHL goal in his third game against Ottawa.

During the 2012-13 season with the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League), Camper appeared in 57 games, notching 10 goals (tied for seventh on the team) and 37 assists (second on the team) for 47 points (second on the team). The forward tallied six penalty minutes and ended the regular season with a plus-two rating.

The forward has skated 129 career AHL games – all with Providence – and has recorded 29 goals and 68 helpers for 97 points with 26 penalty minutes.

Camper played in 12 games during the 2012-13 AHL playoffs where he registered eight goals, which was the highest on the team for the P-Bruins, while his five assists ranked third. His 13 playoff points led the Providence squad (tied for eighth in the AHL).
