On Thursday, Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli announced that the Bruins signed defenseman Dennis Seidenberg to a 4-year contract extension worth an annual cap hit of $4M.

It's good to see Seidenberg get locked up for the next four seasons as he has been a solid piece on the Bruins defense ever since they got him in a trade with Florida. Seidenberg is 32 years old now so this could be his last contract unless he is able to play longer than when he is 36 years old.
