Krug scores twice in 4-1 win over Jets

Earlier today the Bruins took on the struggling Winnipeg Jets and were able to get a 4-1 win despite at times not playing well. Before the game, forward Justin Florek (6'4" 199lbs, left winger) was called up from Providence (AHL) due to Jordan Caron having a sore back. Florek made his NHL debut and finished with 1 shot and 2 hits in 10:14 of ice time.

Quick game summary
In the first period, 22 seconds into the game Bruins Zdeno Chara put a high hit on Jets Blake Wheeler, which got him a 2-minute penalty. Not long after the penalty, Jets Chris Thorburn challenged Chara to fight, no doubt this was for the hit on Wheeler earlier, and they dropped the gloves and had an uneventful fight. As Jack Edwards said during the broadcast, Chara made the hit on Wheeler earlier and now answers the bell, dropping the gloves, unlike someone else not too long ago. Off the next faceoff, Bruins Matt Fraser dropped the gloves with Jets James Wright and they had an ok fight but not much landed by both. Later, Jets Dustin Byfuglien scored, making it 1-0 Jets. Later, Bruins Daniel Paille scored his 6th goal of the season, tying the game 1-1.

In the second period, Bruins Torey Krug scored his 9th goal of the season, making it 2-1 Bruins. Less than five minutes later, Bruins Torey Krug scored his 10th goal of the season, making it 3-1 Bruins.

In the third period, Bruins Reilly Smith scored his 15th goal of the season, making it 4-1 Bruins.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask played in net for the Bruins and made 36 saves on 37 shots. Rask is now 21-9-2 with a 1.96 GAA and a .934 save percentage this season.
