Bad no goal call screws Bruins but Bs win in shootout

Game summary video of the Bruins @ Lightning game on March 8, 2014.
Saturday night the Bruins visited the new-look Tampa Bay Lightning, who traded away their captain Martin St. Louis at the trade deadline, but it looked like it didn't bother them in this game as it was a fast-paced hard hitting game. In the second period, the Lightning took a 2-goal lead against the Bruins but the Bruins would come back to tie it. The Lightning wouldn't back down as they came back and took a 3-2 lead.

In the third period, the Bruins got screwed on a no-goal call as it looked like Patrice Bergeron jammed the puck into the net before the whistle blew and the replay showed the puck across the line (from the Lightning broadcast, at the ice level view you could see the net get lifted and the puck was in the net). The ref deemed that they blew the whistle before the puck went into the net. The game would go into the shootout and Tuukka Rask and Ben Bishop would stop everything until the 7th round when Bruins Reilly Smith scored the game-winning goal.

Quick game summary
In the first period, no scoring happened but in the period Bruins Shawn Thornton dropped the gloves with Lightning Keith Aulie. The fight started with a lot of punches being exchanged and some landing. I would give it a draw.

In the second period, 27 seconds into the period, Lightning Ondrej Palat scored a short-handed goal, making it 1-0 Lightning. Later, Lightning Mark Barberio scored, making it 2-0 Lightning. Less than three minutes later, Bruins Daniel Paille scored his 9th goal of the season, making it 2-1. Less than two minutes later, Bruins Carl Soderberg scored his 11th goal of the season, tying the game 2-2. Less than two minutes later, Lightning Valtteri Filppula scored, making it 3-2 Lightning.

In the third period, Bruins Johnny Boychuk scored his 3rd goal of the season, tying the game 3-3.

In overtime, no scoring happened.

Onto the next one
The Bruins are now 41-17-5 with 87 points and are 1st place in the Atlantic Division. The next game for the Bruins is today (Sunday) at the new-look Florida Panthers with goalie Roberto Luongo. The Panthers traded goalie Tim Thomas to the Dallas Stars so we should see Luongo in net vs the Bruins.
