Bruins win 10th straight game, beat Devils 4-2

Last night the Bruins won their 10th straight game, beating another team that they should beat, against the Devils 4-2. It was also Bruins captain Zdeno Chara's birthday yesterday although he didn't have such a great game himself as he made some bad choices that turned into turnovers.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Patrice Bergeron scored his 20th goal of the season, making it 1-0 Bruins. Shortly after the Bergeron goal, Devils Ryane Clowe challenged Bruins Milan Lucic to go and they dropped the gloves and went at it. It was an even fight with both guys maybe landing one or two punches each.

In the second period, 29 seconds into the period, Devils Patrik Elias scored a power-play goal, tying the game 1-1. Less than a minute later, Bruins Brad Marchand scored his 22nd goal of the season, a short-handed goal, making it 2-1 Bruins. Only 59 seconds later, Bruins Jarome Iginla scored his 26th goal of the season, making it 3-1 Bruins. That goal was Iginla's 556th career NHL goal, which ties him with Bruins legend Johnny Bucyk for 25th on the all-time goal list.

In the third period, Bruins Chris Kelly scored his 8th goal of the season, making it 4-1 Bruins. Later, Devils Travis Zajac scored, making it 4-2.

Game notes
Backup goalie Chad Johnson played in net and made 22 saves on 24 shots. Johnson is now 15-3-1 with a 2.14 GAA and a .921 save percentage this season.
