Bruins sign David Krejci to 6-year contract extension

Yesterday it was announced that the Bruins have signed forward David Krejci to a 6-year contract extension. Krejci's salary will be an annual cap figure of $7,250,000.

In total, the pivot has skated in 504 NHL games – all with Boston – amassing 110 goals and 268 assists for 378 points with a combined plus-97 rating. In seven postseasons with Boston spanning from 2008-14, Krejci has played in 93 games notching 29 goals and 48 assists for 77 points with a plus-28 rating. In two of the last four playoffs, Krejci has led postseason scoring with 23 points in 2011 (12 goals, 11 assists) and 26 points (nine goals, 17 assists) in 2013. His 12 goals in 2011 were the most ever in one playoff year by a Czech player and tied Slovakian Marian Gaborik’s 2008 mark for a Czechoslovakian born player.
