Bruins shutout Sabres 4-0

Boston Bruins forward Carl Soderberg scores off some amazing passes from forwards Chris Kelly and Loui Eriksson to give the Bruins a 4-0 lead in the 2nd period, on October 18, 2014.
Tonight the Bruins shutout the Buffalo Sabres in a game they should have won against a struggling young Sabres team. Simon Gagne played on a line with David Krejci and Milan Lucic and he looked good on it. Hopefully the Bruins can build off this win and carry it to their next game.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Kevan Miller dropped the gloves with Sabres Nicolas Deslauriers in a good fight. Miller did not return to the game after the fight as it looked like he may have landed on his right arm or wrist awkwardly when falling down to the ice with Deslauriers at the end of the fight. You can watch GIFs of the fight and Miller's landing on NESN here. Later Bruins Dougie Hamilton scored his 1st goal of the season, making it 1-0 Bruins. Later, Bruins Zdeno Chara scored his 2nd goal of the season, making it 2-0 Bruins.

In the second period, Bruins Torey Krug scored his 1st goal of the season, making it 3-0 Bruins. Later, Bruins Carl Soderberg scored his 2nd goal of the season, making it 4-0 Bruins.
