Red Wings outplay and beat Bruins 2-1

Last night the Bruins visited the Detroit Red Wings and it looked like they didn't really come to play as the Red Wings controlled most of the game. The Bruins offense was abysmal with only 17 shots on net. This team needs to wake up and wake up fast.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Patrice Bergeron scored his 1st goal of the season, making it 1-0 Bruins.

In the second period, Red Wings Justin Abdelkader scored, tying the game 1-1. Later, Red Wings Gustav Nyquist scored a power-play goal, making it 2-1 Red Wings. Bruins Patrice Bergeron was hit into the boards awkwardly and missed most of the second period. After the game it was revealed that Bergeron went to the "Quiet Room" after the hit.

In the third period, no scoring happened.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask played in net for the Bruins and made 22 saves on 24 shots. Rask is now 1-1-0 with a 1.53 GAA and a .932 save percentage this season.

The Bruins led the game in blocked shots 13-6. The Red Wings led the game in shots 24-17, hits 22-18 and faceoff wins 31-25. The Bruins went 0-for-4 on the power-play while the Red Wings went 1-for-4.

Zdeno Chara led the Bruins with 6 shots. Craig Cunningham led the Bruins with 3 hits. Dennis Seidenberg and Kevan Miller led the Bruins with 3 blocked shots each.

David Krejci and Gregory Campbell did not play as both are recovering from injuries.
