Bruins beat Jets 2-1 in overtime

The day after Thanksgiving can sometimes lead to sloppy gameplay but the Bruins managed to get a 2-1 overtime win before their road trip out west next week.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Jets Dustin Byfuglien scored a power-play goal, making it 1-0 Jets.

In the second period, no scoring happened.

In the third period, Bruins Milan Lucic scored his 5th goal of the season, tying the game 1-1.

In overtime, Bruins Dougie Hamilton scored his 5th goal of the season, to win the game 2-1.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask played in net and made 35 saves on 36 shots. Rask is now 11-6-1 with a 2.31 GAA and a .919 save percentage this season.

The Bruins led the game in shots 38-36 and faceoff wins 37-29. Both teams had 23 hits and 15 blocked shots. The Bruins went 0-for-3 on the power-play while the Jets went 1-for-5.

David Pastrnak led the Bruins with 7 shots. Dennis Seidenberg and Kevan Miller led the Bruins with 4 blocked shots.

Matt Fraser and David Krejci did not play.
