Bruins beat Sabres 4-3 in overtime

Last night the Bruins hosted the rebuilding Buffalo Sabres and Bruins Loui Eriksson was the hero in overtime once again, scoring the game-winning goal.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Dougie Hamilton scored his 6th goal of the season, a power-play goal, making it 1-0 Bruins.

In the period, Bruins Matt Bartkowski laid out Sabres captain Brian Gionta with a dangerous hit that sent Gionta spinning and down onto the ice. Bartkowski was given an interference major and game misconduct. One minute later, Bruins Chris Kelly scored his 3rd goal of the season, tying the game 2-2.

In the second period, Sabres Andrej Meszaros scored, tying the game 1-1. Later, Sabres Rasmus Ristolainen scored a power-play goal, making it 2-1 Sabres.

In the third period, Sabres Tim Schaller scored, making it 3-2 Sabres. Later, Bruins Dougie Hamilton scored his 7th goal of the season, tying the game 3-3.

In overtime, Bruins Loui Eriksson scored his 7th goal of the season, winning the game 4-3 for the Bruins.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask played in net and made 25 saves on 28 shots. Rask is now 13-10-3 this season.
