Bruins beat Kings 3-1

The Los Angeles Kings visited Boston tonight and the Bruins came away with 3-1 win with Brad Marchand and Tuukka Rask shining in this one.

Tuukka Rask shines in 5-2 win over Islanders

On Thursday night the Bruins visited Johnny Boychuk and the New York Islanders and came away with a 5-2 win. It wasn't as easy as the score sounds as the Bruins had a two-goal lead after the first period but blew it in the second period as they were outplayed by the Islanders. Tuukka Rask made some great saves to keep the Bruins in the game and the Bruins were able to score a few goals to put the game away.

Avalanche beat Bruins in shootout 3-2

Yesterday the Bruins played their last game before the All-Star break as they visited the Colorado Avalanche. The Bruins wound up going to another extra period game and then to a shootout where they would lose 3-2 to the Avalanche.

The Bruins played a lot better tonight and shutout the New Jersey Devils 3-0. Niklas Svedberg earned the shutout as he stopped all 14 shots he faced.
