Bruins blow lead, lose in overtime to Flames

This game pretty much sums up the Bruins this season, as the Bruins had a 3-0 lead to only blow it in the third period and lose in the final seconds of overtime.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Brad Marchand scored his 16th goal of the season, a short-handed goal, making it 1-0 Bruins. Later, Bruins Zdeno Chara his 4th goal of the season, making it 2-0 Bruins.

In the second period, only 50 seconds into the period, Bruins Torey Krug scored his 11th goal of the season, making it 3-0 Bruins. The Flames then switched goalies. Later, Flames David Jones scored, making it 3-1.

In the third period, Flames Jiri Hudler scored, making it 3-2. Later, Flames Jiri Hudler scored a power-play goal, tying the game 3-3.

In overtime, with 2 seconds left in the period, Flames TJ Brodie scored a weird goal, which went off of the top of the net, then off of Rask's back and into the net, ending the game 4-3.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask played in net and made 23 saves on 27 shots. Rask is now 23-15-8 this season.

Both teams had 27 shots each. The Flames led the game in hits 16-12, faceoff wins 34-33 and blocked shots 16-14. The Bruins went 0-for-2 on the power-play while the Flames went 1-for-2.

Milan Lucic, Loui Eriksson, David Krejci, Torey Krug and Brad Marchand led the Bruins with 3 shots each.

Jordan Caron and Adam McQuaid were out of the Bruins lineup.
