Bruins beat Rangers 4-2

Here's a game summary blog post of the Bruins 4-2 win over the New York Rangers.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Milan Lucic scored his 16th goal of the season, making it 1-0 Bruins. Later, Bruins Milan Lucic scored his 17th goal of the season, making it 2-0 Bruins. Later, Bruins Carl Soderberg scored his 12th goal of the season, making it 3-0 Bruins.

In the second period, Bruins Reilly Smith scored his 13th goal of the season, making it 4-0 Bruins. Later, Rangers Rick Nash scored, making it 4-1.

In the third period, Bruins Matt Bartkowski got into a fight with Rangers James Sheppard. Later, Rangers Matt Hunwick scored, making it 4-2.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask started the game but left the game ten seconds into the second period. It was later reported that Rask left because of dehydration. Rask stopped all 14 shots he faced and got the win. Rask is now 30-19-12 this season. Niklas Svedberg played the rest of the game and made 16 saves on 18 shots.

The Bruins led the game in faceoff wins 42-28 and blocked shots 15-10. The Rangers led the game in shots 32-30 and hits 36-33. The Bruins went 0-for-1 on the power-play while the Rangers had zero power-plays.

Patrice Bergeron and Loui Eriksson led the Bruins with 4 shots each. Dennis Seidenberg led the Bruins with 6 blocked shots. Gregory Campbell and Zach Trotman led the Bruins with 3 blocked shots each.

Brett Connolly, Dougie Hamilton and Daniel Paille were out of the Bruins lineup.
