Ducks beat Bruins in overtime 3-2

Here's a game summary blog post of the Bruins 3-2 overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks.

Quick game summary
In the first period, no scoring happened.

In the second period, Ducks Patrick Maroon scored, making it 1-0 Ducks. Later, Bruins Ryan Spooner scored his 6th goal of the season, a power-play goal, tying the game 1-1.

In the third period, only 27 seconds into the period, Bruins Loui Eriksson scored his 19th goal of the season, a power-play goal, making it 2-1 Bruins. Late in the period, Ducks Corey Perry scored, tying the game 2-2.

In overtime, Ducks Ryan Getzlaf scored, winning the game 3-2.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask played in net and made 29 saves on 32 shots. Rask is now 29-19-12 this season.

The Ducks led the game in shots 32-29, hits 44-32, faceoff wins 41-34 and blocked shots 12-11. The Bruins went 2-for-4 on the power-play while the Ducks went 0-for-2.

Loui Eriksson led the Bruins with 4 shots. Dennis Seidenberg led the Bruins with 6 hits. Patrice Bergeron led the Bruins with 3 blocked shots.

Dougie Hamilton, Daniel Paille, Brett Connolly and Brian Ferlin were out of the Bruins lineup.
