Bruins dominate Coyotes 6-0

Yesterday the Bruins hosted the Arizona Coyotes and completely dominated them with a 6-0 win. Tuukka Rask looked good and hopefully is back on track after a slow start this season with not much help from his defense.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins David Krejci scored his 6th goal of the season, making it 1-0 Bruins.

In the second period, Bruins Jimmy Hayes scored his 3rd goal of the season, making it 2-0 Bruins. Later, Bruins Joe Morrow scored his 1st goal of the season, making it 3-0 Bruins.

In the third period, Bruins Brett Connolly scored his 3rd goal of the season, making it 4-0 Bruins. A little later, Bruins Brad Marchand scored his 2nd goal of the season, a power-play goal, making it 5-0 Bruins. Late in the game, Bruins David Krejci scored his 7th goal of the season, making it 6-0 Bruins.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask played in net and stopped all 24 shots he faced to get his 1st shutout of the season. Rask is now 2-3-1 with a 3.67 GAA and a .874 save percentage this season.

The Bruins led the game in shots 27-24 and blocked shots 18-9. The Coyotes led the game in hits 21-12. Both teams had 35 faceoff wins. The Bruins went 1-for-4 on the power-play while the Coyotes went 0-for-3.

Brad Marchand led the Bruins with 5 shots. Brett Connolly led the Bruins with 5 hits. Adam McQuaid led the Bruins with 5 blocked shots.

Zac Rinaldo and Zach Trotman were scratched and did not play.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Bruins assigned Max Talbot to Providence (AHL).
