Loui Eriksson nets hat trick in win over Wild

On Thursday night the Bruins hosted the Minnesota Wild and played better than their last game to get the 4-2 win with Loui Eriksson leading the way with a hat trick.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Brad Marchand scored his 7th goal of the season, making it 1-0 Bruins. Off the next faceoff after the goal, Bruins Matt Beleskey dropped the gloves with Wild Brett Bulmer and gave him a good pounding in a no doubt win over Bulmer. That was Beleskey's first fighting major with the Bruins.

In the second period, Wild Jason Zucker scored, tying the game 1-1. Less than two minutes later, Bruins Loui Eriksson scored his 7th goal of the season, making it 2-1 Bruins. Less than four minutes later, Bruins Loui Eriksson scored his 8th goal of the season, a power-play goal, making it 3-1 Bruins. Less than three minutes later, Wild Jordan Schroeder scored, making it 3-2.

In the third period, Bruins Loui Eriksson scored his 9th goal of the season, earning him his 1st hat trick as a member of the Bruins, making the score 4-2 Bruins.

Game notes
Jonas Gustavsson played in net and made 24 saves on 26 shots. Gustavsson is now 4-1-0 with a 2.20 GAA and a .914 save percentage this season.

The Bruins led the game in shots 38-26, hits 29-23 and blocked shots 16-10. The Wild led the game in faceoff wins 26-22. The Bruins went 1-for-4 on the power-play while the Wild went 0-for-3.

David Krejci led the Bruins with 6 shots. Matt Beleskey and Ryan Spooner led the Bruins with 5 hits each. Zdeno Chara led the Bruins with 3 blocked shots.

Kevan Miller, Joe Morrow and David Pastrnak were scratched and did not play.
