Bruins beat Devils 2-1 in shootout

Sunday night the Bruins hosted the New Jersey Devils and did they something they don't usually do, win a game in a shootout.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Loui Eriksson scored his 13th goal of the season, making the score 1-0 Bruins.

In the second period, Devils Andy Greene scored, tying the game 1-1.

In the third period, no scoring happened.

In overtime, no scoring happened.

In the shootout, Bruins Ryan Spooner scored, which turned out to be the winning goal.

Game notes
Jonas Gustavsson played in net and made 29 saves on 30 shots. Gustavsson is now 6-2-1 with a 2.43 GAA and a .912 save percentage this season.

Joe Morrow, David Pastrnak and Zach Trotman were scratched and did not play.
