Bruins blow lead late and lose in overtime to Flames

In Friday's Bruins-Flames game, the Bruins got the lead late in the game with a Brad Marchand penalty shot goal and in true fail fashion, the Flames scored the tying goal with less than two seconds left in the game. It would go into overtime and Flames young upcoming star Johnny Gaudreau scored to get a hat trick and win it for the Flames.

Quick game summary
In the first period, 33 seconds into the game, Flames Johnny Gaudreau scored, making the score 1-0 Flames. Later, Flames Mark Giordano scored, making the score 2-0 Flames. Later, Bruins Matt Beleskey scored his 3rd goal of the season, making the score 2-1.

Game notes
Jonas Gustavsson started the game in net and made 8 saves on 11 shots. Gustavsson was pulled early in the second period and Tuukka Rask came in and played the rest of the game. Rask made 24 saves on 26 shots. Gustavsson now has a 2.49 GAA and a .908 save percentage this season. Rask got the loss and is now 8-7-3 with a 2.87 GAA and a .903 save percentage this season.

The Bruins led the game in shots 38-37 and blocked shots 21-15. Both teams had 11 hits each and 29 faceoff wins each. The Bruins went 0-for-1 on the power-play while the Flames went 0-for-4.

Patrice Bergeron led the Bruins with 6 shots. Adam McQuaid led the Bruins with 3 hits. Torey Krug led the Bruins with 5 blocked shots.

Kevan Miller, Joe Morrow and Zac Rinaldo were scratched and did not play.
