Bruins shutout Canucks 4-0

On Saturday night the Bruins visited the Vancouver Canucks but only one team showed up on the ice and it was the Bruins as Tuukka Rask led the way with a 4-0 shutout win over the Canucks.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Zac Rinaldo dropped the gloves with Canucks Derek Dorsett and they had a short fight. Not long later, Bruins Brad Marchand scored his 13th goal of the season, making the score 1-0 Bruins. Later, Bruins Torey Krug scored his 3rd goal of the season, making the score 2-0 Bruins.

Tuukka Rask played in net and stopped all 17 shots he faced. Rask is now 9-7-3 with a 2.72 GAA and a .906 save percentage this season.

The Bruins led the game in shots 22-17, faceoff wins 29-25 and blocked shots 16-10. The Canucks led the game in hits 20-15. The Bruins went 0-for-1 on the power-play while the Canucks went 0-for-3.

Brad Marchand led the Bruins with 5 shots. Zac Rinaldo led the Bruins with 3 hits. Kevan Miller led the Bruins with 4 blocked shots.

Jimmy Hayes, Colin Miller and Dennis Seidenberg were scratched and did not play.
