Bruins hold on to beat Flames 2-1

Last night, with newly acquired additions, Lee Stempniak and John-Michael Liles in the lineup, the Bruins held on to a 2-1 lead to beat the Calgary Flames and get two points they desperately needed.

Rinaldo suspended
Bruins forward Zac Rinaldo was suspended for 5 games for his hit to the head of Lightning's Cedric Paquette in Sunday's game. Rinaldo was sent to Providence (AHL) so he won't start serving the suspension until he is back up in the NHL.
