Bruins sign Kevan Miller and Seth Griffith

Yesterday the Bruins announced that they signed defenseman Kevan Miller to a 4-year contract extension, at a @2.5 million per year cap figure. This signing is a big head-scratcher and really makes Bruins fans question Bruins GM Don Sweeney and where this team is heading.

The Bruins also signed forward Seth Griffith to a 1-year two-way contract, at $625,000 per year cap figure.

In other news, the Bruins announced that they have hired Bruce Cassidy and Jay Pandolfo as assistant coaches. Departing from the Bruins staff are Doug Houda and Doug Jarvis.
