Bruins beat Hurricanes in shootout 2-1

Last night the Bruins were able to tie the game up late in the third period and red hot David Pastrnak would score the game-winning goal in the shootout to get Bruins backup goalie Anton Khudobin his first win of the season.

Quick game summary
In the first period, no scoring happened.

In the second period, Hurricanes Noah Hanifin scored a power-play goal, giving the Hurricanes a 1-0 lead.

In the third period, Bruins Torey Krug scored his 2nd goal of the season, tying the game 1-1.

In overtime, no scoring happened.

In the shootout, Bruins Ryan Spooner and Hurricanes Jaccob Slavin scored in the first round; Bruins David Pastrnak scored in the third round which would be the eventual game-winning goal.
