Bruins beat Sabres 4-2

Last night, the Sabres owned the first period with a 2-0 lead but the Bruins turned it around in the second and third periods, beating the Sabres 4-2.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Sabres Marcus Foligno scored, giving the Sabres a 1-0 lead. Later, Sabres William Carrier gave Bruins David Backes an illegal check to the head which knocked Backes out of the game. Later, Bruins Adam McQuaid dropped the gloves with Sabres William Carrier, but the linesmen would screw it up as one held onto McQuaid as Carrier threw punches at him without letting McQuaid defend himself. Great job linesmen, great job. Later, Sabres Kyle Okposo scored a power-play goal, giving the Sabres a 2-0 lead.

In the second period, Bruins Patrice Bergeron scored his 6th goal of the season, cutting the Sabres lead to 2-1. Later, Bruins David Krejci scored his 8th goal of the season, a power-play goal, tying the game 2-2.

In the third period, Bruins Ryan Spooner scored his 6th goal of the season, giving the Bruins a 3-2 lead. Later, Bruins Ryan Spooner scored his 7th goal of the season, an empty-net goal, giving the Bruins a 4-2 lead.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask played in net and made 31 saves on 33 shots. Rask is now 18-7-0-3 with a 1.96 GAA and a .927 save percentage this season.

The Bruins led the game with a 52% faceoff percentage and shots 38-33. The Sabres led the game in hits 27-18 and blocked shots 18-12. The Bruins went 1-for-5 on the power-play while the Sabres went 1-for-6.
