Ex-Bruin Subban gets 1st win vs Bruins

Boston Bruins @ Vegas Golden Knights game recap video, on October 15, 2017.
You had a feeling losing goalie Malcolm Subban off waivers and not getting anything in return for him was going to hurt the Bruins at some point, well it has already. Malcolm Subban started tonight for the Vegas Golden Knights and earned his first career NHL win over the team that let him go for nothing. Subban stopped 21 of the 22 shots he faced, as the Bruins didn't get many scoring opportunities as the Golden Knights played a good game. The Bruins defense needs some serious help but we've been saying that for a few years now. The loss of Patrice Bergeron to injury has shown to be huge so far this season, no surprise there. The Bruins start a 4-game home trip starting on Thursday when they take on the Vancouver Canucks.

Quick game summary
In the first period, no scoring happened.

In the second period, at 14:38, Golden Knights Alex Tuch scored, giving the Golden Knights a 1-0 lead. At 17:46, Golden Knights Vadim Shipachyov scored, giving the Golden Knights a 2-0 lead.

In the third period, at 19:30, Bruins David Pastrnak scored his 3rd goal of the season, cutting the Golden Knights lead to 2-1. At 19:46, Golden Knights Oscar Lindberg scored an empty-net goal, giving the Golden Knights a 3-1 lead.
