Bruins sign Brian Gionta to 1-year contract

Today the Bruins announced that they have signed free agent forward Brian Gionta to a 1-year 1-way contract worth $700K.

Brian Gionta has not played in the NHL this season, but played for Team USA at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, where he was the team captain. Last season, Gionta played for the Buffalo Sabres, and in 82 games he had 15 goals and 20 assists for 35 points.
