Lightning take 2-1 series lead
On Wednesday in game 3, things got worse for the Bruins as they fell 4-1 to the Lightning and now trail in the series 2-1.

Quick game summary
In the first period, at 1:47, Lightning Ondrej Palat scored, giving the Lightning a 1-0 lead. At 3:19, Lightning Ondrej Palat scored again, giving the Lightning a 2-0 lead. At 14:12, Bruins Patrice Bergeron scored his 4th goal of the playoffs, a power-play goal, cutting the Lightning's lead to 2-1. At 16:43, Lightning Anthony Cirelli scored, giving the Lightning a 3-1 lead.

In the second period, no scoring happened. At 15:12, Bruins David Backes boarded Lightning's Dan Girardi with a questionable hit. Lightning Cedric Paquette instigated a fight with Backes and they had a quick uneventful fight.
