Bruins lose to Wild 4-3

Tonight the Bruins had a good start, then fell apart, and then almost came back but fell one goal short to the Minnesota Wild with the final score 4-3. In the first period, Phil Kessel scored on a nice wrist shot (his 2nd goal of the season). After the first period it was 1-1, but the Wild took over the game in the second period, scoring three unanswered goals making it 4-1. In the third period, Marc Savard scored two goals (his 2nd and 3rd goals of the season) to make it 4-3. Manny Fernandez played in this game and made 22 saves on 26 shots.

Some other notes about this game: Bruins winger Chuck Kobasew was scratched from the lineup as he broke his ankle in the game vs the Avalanche. Forward Petteri Nokelainen took Kobasew's place in the lineup. Michael Ryder had two assists in this game.

The next Bruins game is on Wednesday at the Montreal Canadiens, 7:30 PM EST.
