Bruins re-sign Krejci to 3-year contract

The Bruins re-signed forward David Krejci to a 3-year contract (worth $11.25M, $3.75M per year, source).

Krejci established a career high in games played, goals, assists and points this season with 22-51-73 totals in 82 games. His 51 assists ranked him second on the team behind Marc Savard, and he led the NHL with a plus/minus rating of +37. In 2009, Krejci also received the Bruins Seventh Player Award, given to the player who performs above and beyond expectations.

This is good getting Krejci signed for a long-term contract as he is probably going to improve every season. Next season should be exicting. On Thursday Krejci underwent success hip surgery. Krejci will be forced to miss approximately four to six months.
