Today Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference underwent successful surgery to repair an abdominal hernia and to perform an adductor release. Ference will be forced to miss approximately four to six weeks. Ference has always been a dependable defenseman and I hope he's ready to go when training camp starts for next season.
