Game 1 between the Bruins and Sabres has started. Stay tuned to this post as I'll be updating it as the game goes along. Here is the Bruins lineup for game 1:

1st Period
7:20 PM - [4:20] Vanek scores and makes it 1-0 Sabres.
7:24 PM - Icing call on the Bruins but it looked like Wheeler got there in time, bad call by the refs. Mair and Ryder collided. Mair went to the dressing room.
7:32 PM - 8:47 remaining in the first period. The Sabres look like the better team in the first period here. Whenever Wideman and Hunwick are out there they have a hard time getting the puck out of the defensive zone.
7:35 PM - Vanek shoved Wheeler from behind into the boards. No penalty.
7:39 PM - Huge scrum after Chara shoved Kaleta from behind into the boards. So Chara gets a penalty for that but Vanek doesn't for his shove from behind, wow. Lydman must have done something to Lucic as Lucic lost his cool and went after him and everybody got involved in the scrum except for the goalies. Lydman with his visor on, was making gestures and talking trash after the linesmen broke up Lucic and him. You know he's a real tough guy, talking after the linesmen separate them.
Two minute power-play for the Sabres. Chara got 2, Lucic got 4, Lydman got 2, Montador got 2, Torres got 2, and Kaleta got 10.
7:47 PM - McQuaid took a hooking penalty. Sabres with another power-play.
7:50 PM - The first period is over. Sabres lead 1-0.
2nd Period
8:07 PM - Second period has started.
8:17 PM - A lot of back and forth play.
8:20 PM - Bergeron had a great chance but Miller with the save.
8:22 PM - Lydman in the box, Bruins with the power-play.
8:24 PM - Recchi scores the power-play goal to tie the game 1-1.
8:32 PM - Rivet scores with a big high slap shot and makes it 2-1. Bruins have played better than the Sabres but Sabres now lead.
8:34 PM - Kaleta lost his helmet on a hit and then was hit against the glass. A scrum ensued and after the scrum you can see Kaleta was bleeding from the side of his eye.
8:38 PM - Bruins on the power-play. Vanek took a tripping penalty.
8:42 PM - Second period has ended.
3rd Period
9:00 PM - Third period has started.
9:10 PM - Miller dives backwards into the net trying to draw a penalty with Krejci crashing the net. The refs ain't falling for that one Miller. You should have Kaleta teach you the art of diving, he knows it best on your team.
9:16 PM - Recchi and Pominville in the box for roughing. 4 on 4 play. 10:37 left in the third period.
9:22 PM - 7:37 left in the third period.
9:23 PM - Wideman takes a tripping penalty cause Roy dived.
9:27 PM - B's kill the Wideman penalty but now Satan is going to the box for delay of game as he shot the puck over the glass.
9:30 PM - Roy missed an open net, not sure what happened that he didn't score there. Penalty is over.
9:32 PM - 1:35 left in the third period.
9:32 PM - Rask has been pulled.
9:33 PM - Chara took a penalty to save an open net goal by Grier. 6.7 seconds left.
9:35 PM - The game is over and the Sabres win Game 1.
