Red Wings beat Bruins 6-1

After a wild game against the Montreal Canadiens, Friday's game against the Detroit Red Wings was nothing like it. The Bruins fell to the Red Wings 6-1 and were totally outplayed by them as the score indicated.

At the end of the first period the score was 2-1 Red Wings. David Krejci scored the Bruins goal, his 8th goal of the season and it was a power-play goal. At the end of the second period the score was 5-1 Red Wings. The game would end 6-1 with Tim Thomas playing in the third period.

Tuukka Rask started in net, made 14 saves on 19 shots. Tim Thomas made 14 saves on 15 shots.

The Red Wings led the game in shots 34-26. The Bruins led the game in faceoff wins 36-28.
