Rookie forward Brad Marchand has been suspended 2 games by the NHL for his hit on R.J. Umberger in Tuesday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Marchand will forego $6,330.64 in salary. Marchand will be eligible to play next Tuesday against New Jersey at TD Garden.
